Last year, we supported 11 Charity Partners and about 825 children. This year we have added a few women’s shelters in the Port Credit / Mississauga / Malton areas.
In particular, we hope to emphasize how our process allows us to provide ‘JUST THE RIGHT TOY’ for each individual Girl and Boy:
Each Charity Partner submits an accurate Wish List including the Gender & Age for each child. The Toys we drop-off into our Collection Boxes add up about 20% of what we need in total.
It’s the E-TRANSFERS that really allow us to go shopping for exactly the Toys we still-need to complete each Wish List. Tax Receipts are available with an on-line donation to the Toy Drive via the Jean Augustine Centre…one of our original Charity Partners.
