Did you know that a former Mayor was a Past Master of Humber Lodge? S.J. Totten, who was Master of the Lodge, was also a volunteer fireman, a Manager of the local Bell Telephone Office, and member of the municipal council and Mayor of Weston.
In Freemasonry, he was in initiated in 1905, Past Master of Humber Lodge in 1919a charter member of Mount Dennis Lodge in 1922, First Principal of Humber Chapter in 1928, received his 32nd degree, and was Grand Steward in 1948. That’s one busy fellow!
